The Central Asia-Caucasus Institute & Silk Road Studies Program Joint Center is primarily a Research and Policy unit. Nevertheless, its academic affiliation with Johns Hopkins' School of Advanced International Studies implies an active role by its senior staff in teaching. Such teaching is undertaken under the auspices of SAIS, and the Joint Center itself does not offer academic programs. Hence all inquiries regarding academic courses or programs should be directed to the respective academic units.
At present, two graduate seminars are offered at SAIS, one on modern Central Asia and another on the Caucasus. These are administered by the Russia and Eurasia Program at SAIS, and crosslisted with Asian studies.
