| Su Hao

Su Hao is one of China ’s lea ding experts on Chinese foreign policy, Strategy and International Security and International Relations in the Asia-Pacific Region. In 2001 and 2002 he was a Fulbright Scholar at the Institute of War and Peace in the School of International and Public Affairs, Columbia University , USA and he has had academic visits to India , the United Kingdom , France , Sri Lanka , Malaysia , South Korea and Sweden .
Su Hao has written extensively on the cooperative mechanisms in East Asia and is currently working on the position and role of China in the region in the Post-Cold War era. He is also the co-author on two volumes analyzing the Diplomatic History of China.
Prior to his position at the China Foreign Affairs University , Su Hao was the Acting Chairman of the Department of Diplomacy and Director of China’s Foreign Relations Section at the Foreign Affairs University. In addition, he holds several memberships and honorable assignments including being a member of the Chinese Committee in the Council of Security Cooperation in the Asia Pacific (CSCAP), board member in the China Asia-Pacific Studies Society and a Special Research Fellow of the Centre for Peace and Development Studies. In 2004 he was a visiting fellow at the Silk Road Studies program. |
