Klas Kärrstrand
Junior Research Fellow

Mr. Klas Kärrstrand is a Junior Research Fellow at the Narcotics, Organized Crime and Security in Eurasia project. His main research interests are organized crime and money laundering. Mr Kärrstrand is also organizing workshops and conferences on "Countering Organized Crime and Narcotics in the Baltic region". His main area of expertise is the Baltic States.

Mr Kärrstrand holds a MA in East European Studies and a BA in Political Science from Uppsala University. He also studied Baltic politics at Latvijas Universitate, Riga, Latvia and served as an intern at the Swedish embassy in Tallinn, Estonia.
