Aleksandr Dugin is a leading exponent of the "Eurasianist" approach to =
Russian foreign policy. Mr. Dugin has published more than a dozen books =
on a wide range of political and cultural subjects and has written for =
several major Russian newspapers. For five years he served as a foreign-af=
fairs advisor to the speaker of the Duma. He has close relations with the =
Russian security establishment, and his writings have been used in the =
training of senior Russian military officers. His presentation should =
provide a timely account of Eurasianist thinking about Russia's geopolitica=
l options following the political upheavals in Ukraine, Uzbekistan, and =
Kyrgyzstan.
