In addition to serving as Director of the Center for SCO Studies at the Shanghai Academy of Social Sciences (SASS), Dr. Guang is the Director of the Institute of Eurasian Studies at SASS, Dean of the Center of Jewish Studies Shanghai, and Vice Chairman of the Chinese Society of Middle East Studies. He is the Walter & Seena Fair Professor for Jewish & Israeli Studies and a Senior Advisor to the China-Eurasia Forum. His published books and articles include: "The Jews in China," "From Silk Road to ASEM: 2000 years of Asia-Europe Relations," "China-Central Asia-Russia Relations," "SCO andChina 's Role in the War on Terrorism," "Contemporary International Crises," and "China's Success in the Middle East."
